Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Modular Furniture Designer to join our in-house team. The ideal

candidate will have hands-on experience in designing modular kitchens, wardrobes, and workstations. This

individual will be responsible for creating 2D and 3D layouts, generating accurate cutlists for fabrication, and

conducting precise on-site measurements. Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Indian standard sizing

and construction constraints is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design modular kitchens, wardrobes, and workstations based on client requirements and site conditions.

- Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and modular design software.

- Generate fabrication-ready cutlists and bills of quantities (BOQs).

- Conduct on-site visits for accurate measurement and layout planning. MUST have prior experience in taking

detailed measurements onsite.

- Account for architectural constraints like columns, corners, fillers, skirting, and electrical/plumbing points.

- Follow Indian modular design standards for cabinet sizing and layouts.

- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to present and revise designs.

- Use digital tools to produce production-ready outputs quickly and efficiently.

- Ensure accuracy and completeness in design documentation to minimize errors during manufacturing.
Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.

- Minimum 1 year of experience in modular kitchen, wardrobe, and workstation design.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of software like KD Max, SketchUp, or similar tools is a plus.

- Understanding of Indian modular standards and construction detailing.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.

- Willingness to travel locally for site measurement and coordination.

-2wheeler and laptop ownership is a must.
