Min of 5 years experience preferred

Location: Chennai, Navalur

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

• Reconcile accounts, prepare and verify journal entries, and prepare supporting schedules.

• Maintain and monitor general ledger accounts and perform account analysis.

• Lead audits, liaise with external auditors, and ensure timely delivery of requested information.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and recommend improvements where necessary.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

• Assist with the development of accounting policies and procedures.

• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.

• Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

• Assist in tax preparation, filings, and other regulatory reporting as needed.

Must know: Tally, BRS, GST, TDS, Invoice Generation, Accounts Finalization,Budgeting etc...
