Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations.

• Prepare financial statements, profit/loss reports, balance sheets, and budget reports.

• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.

• Supervise and review the work of junior accountants.

• Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable processes.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).

• Assist with tax audits and internal/external financial audits.

• Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting best practices.

• Liaise with auditors, vendors, and banks.

• Use accounting software (Tally/SAP/QuickBooks/etc.) to maintain financial data.
