Senior Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant who has hands-on expertise in finalization of accounts and managing high-volume trading or stock transactions across multiple entities. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling end-to-end accounting processes, reconciliations, and preparing financial statements in a fast-paced environment.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Finalize books of accounts for multiple companies under the group

Handle stock market/trading entries in large volumes with accuracy

Prepare profit & loss accounts, balance sheets, and other financial reports

Perform reconciliation of bank accounts, brokerage ledgers, and trading accounts

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax)

Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for audits and filings

Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and internal departments

Manage month-end and year-end closing processes

Track and analyze trading performance and provide MIS reports

Assist in portfolio analysis and capital gains calculations

✅ Desired Candidate Profile:

B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or similar qualification

4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, trading, or investment firms

Strong knowledge of account finalization, taxation, and financial reporting

Proficient in Tally ERP, Excel, and trading platforms (e.g., Zerodha, Angel, etc.)

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under tight deadlines

Experience working with multiple entities or group companies is a plus
