Junior Accountant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chartered Accountant Trainee to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have prior hands-on experience working in a Chartered Accountant firm, especially in Income Tax Return Filing, Tax Audit, Statutory Audit, and other related financial and compliance areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, companies, and trusts.

• Assist in Tax Audits, GST Audits, and Statutory Audits.

• Prepare and review financial statements and audit reports.

• Handle compliance under Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and GST.

• Assist senior CAs in assessment, scrutiny, and other departmental representations.

• Maintain documentation and working papers in accordance with audit standards.

• Stay updated with latest changes in tax laws and accounting practices.

• Coordinate with clients for data collection, clarifications, and reporting.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a CA firm, preferably in ITR filing and audit work

• Working knowledge of Income Tax Portal, TDS, and GST filings

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Excel, and CA office tools

• Good understanding of Accounting Standards, Taxation laws, and Auditing practices

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
