Junior Accountant

Position Title: Junior Accountant
Location: Pune Viman Nager
Department: Accounts & Finance
Reporting To: Senior Accountant / Finance Manager
Employment Type: Full-Time / On-Site

🎯 Objective:

To assist in the day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate recording, timely reporting, and compliance with company and statutory requirements.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Accounting Operations

   • Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses, etc.)

   • Post entries in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho, QuickBooks)

2. Invoice Management

   • Prepare and issue sales invoices

   • Verify and record vendor bills and staff reimbursements

3. Banking & Payments

   • Prepare payment vouchers and perform bank reconciliations

   • Handle petty cash and maintain records

4. GST & Tax Support

   • Assist in monthly GST filing data preparation

   • Maintain TDS, PF, and ESI-related documentation

5. Inventory & Asset Accounting

   • Help in updating inventory records

   • Support in fixed asset tracking

6. Internal Reporting

   • Generate daily and monthly reports (receivables, payables, cash flow)

   • Assist with MIS reports as required

7. Audit & Compliance Support

   • Provide data for internal and statutory audits

   • Maintain documentation for compliance

📈 Skills and Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent

• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred (Fresher with strong knowledge may apply)

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally/SAP)

• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards

• Good attention to detail and time management

• Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines
