Job Title: Audit Assistant – Bank Concurrent Audit
Location: Dobbspet, Karnataka
Employment Type: Temporary / Contractual
Reporting To: Audit Manager / Partner
Duration: Ongoing (Minimum engagement of 3–6 months preferred)
Work Days: 15 days per month
Work Timing: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Notice Period: 1 month

Job Summary:

We are hiring a dedicated and detail-oriented Audit Assistant for conducting Concurrent Audits at two bank branches located in Dobbspet. The role involves working 15 days at the location every month. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in banking audits with proper training and learning support provided.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Audit Execution – Concurrent Audit

• Conduct daily/regular audits at bank branches in line with RBI and bank-specific guidelines.

• Verify transactions including cash operations, loan disbursements, deposit accounts, KYC compliance, and other critical banking activities.

• Identify control lapses or irregularities and bring them to the notice of the supervisor or branch officials.

• Review key areas like high-value transactions, documentation for loans, and potential NPAs.

2. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and complete working papers and audit documentation.

• Prepare daily/weekly audit reports with observations and submit them to the Audit Manager.

• Support in preparing the audit checklist and updating it with branch-specific inputs.

3. Communication & Coordination

• Coordinate with branch officials for data and document access during the audit.

• Maintain a professional approach while raising audit queries and resolving them.

• Provide timely updates to the audit team and report major observations promptly.

Eligibility & Requirements:

• Education: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance) or similar qualification.

• Experience: Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in audit or finance.

• Skills:

  • Strong basic accounting and auditing knowledge

  • Familiarity with banking operations is preferred

  • Good MS Excel skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to travel regularly to Dobbspet
