Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic US Tax and Drake Software Trainer to join our growing team at our Hyderabad office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering training sessions on US individual and business tax concepts as well as hands-on guidance using Drake Tax Software. This role plays a critical part in ensuring tax preparers are well-equipped for peak tax seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Train new hires and existing staff on US Federal and State tax laws and filing requirements.

• Conduct live and recorded training sessions on Drake Tax Software, including updates and new features.

• Develop and maintain training materials such as manuals, handouts, videos, and quick-reference guides.

• Coordinate and schedule training sessions aligned with seasonal needs and onboarding plans.

• Work closely with the tax operations team to ensure alignment between training content and real-world tax scenarios.

• Provide one-on-one coaching and support to team members as needed.

• Stay up-to-date with changes in US tax laws and Drake software updates.

• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback surveys, and follow-ups.

• Maintain a knowledge base or help desk system for common issues related to tax laws or software use.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in US Tax preparation (1040, 1065, 1120, etc.).

• Hands-on experience with Drake Tax Software (minimum one tax season).

• Strong understanding of IRS compliance, e-filing procedures, and common tax credits/deductions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification as an EA (Enrolled Agent) or CPA (US).

• Prior experience in corporate or classroom-based training roles.

• Familiarity with remote training tools like Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.

• Knowledge of adult learning principles and training evaluation techniques.

Work Environment:

• Work from Manjeera Trinity Corporate Office, KPHB, Hyderabad.

• Standard office hours with flexibility during tax season.

• Occasional weekend or evening sessions during peak periods.
