Position: Asst Manager – Accounts & Compliance

Location: Chandivali, Mumbai

Experience Required: Minimum 7 years (preferably working with a CA)

Sal: Up to 60k ( Negotiable for right candidate)

Proficiency in Tally

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

Finalization of Books of Accounts as per Indian Accounting Standards

Audit Finalization – Coordinating with internal and statutory auditors

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

2. Taxation & Compliance

GST Compliance – Filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns, reconciliations, GST audits, and compliance with GST regulations

TDS Compliance – Deduction, deposit, return filing, and resolving notices related to TDS

Income Tax Compliance – Filing tax returns, advance tax calculations, responding to tax notices, and handling income tax assessments

Professional Tax, ESI & PF Compliance – Ensuring timely payments and filings as per statutory norms

3. Companies Act & Legal Compliance

Strong knowledge of the Companies Act, 2013 and corporate governance

Ensuring ROC filings (MCA compliance, annual returns, and event-based filings)

Maintaining Statutory Registers & Records as per company law requirements

4. Record-Keeping & Software Expertise

Proficiency in Tally for accounting and bookkeeping

Ensuring proper documentation, data integrity, and record maintenance for audits and legal compliance

5. Coordination & Advisory

Liaising with tax authorities, auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies

Keeping updated on changes in taxation laws and advising management on their impact
