Job Description: Accounting Associate

Location: Ghaziabad

Education: Graduate or Post Graduate in Commerce

CTC Range: ₹1.8 LPA – ₹4.20 LPA

Key Responsibilities

·        Managing daily accounting transactions using Tally ERP, including voucher entries and ledger postings.

·        Performing bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations with accuracy and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

·        Maintaining imprest accounts and managing petty cash as per company policies.

·        Processing journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and contra entries.

·        Handling TDS deductions, payments, reconciliations.

·        Supporting GST compliance, including 2A/2B reconciliations and preparation of statutory returns.

·        Coordinating with vendors, customers, and banking partners for transaction confirmations.

·        Preparing supporting documents and schedules for audits and reporting requirements.

Candidate Profile

·        Commerce Graduate/Post Graduate with 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.

·        Hands-on experience with Tally ERP and its accounting modules.

·        Strong exposure to:

- Bank/vendor/customer reconciliations

- Voucher entries (Payment, Receipt, Journal, Contra)

- Imprest account and petty cash management

- TDS calculations, deductions, and filing

- GST 2A/2B reconciliations and return preparation

·        Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and statutory compliance.

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.

·        Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

·        Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
