Accounts Assistant

Job Description:

We are looking for an Account Assistant with working experience in day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should be familiar with GST returns filing (2B, 3B, R1), data entry, voucher entries, and basic accounting principles. You will support the Accounts Department with proper and timely documentation and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file GST returns (2B, 3B, R1)

• Data entry in accounting software (Tally or similar)

• Handle voucher entries and petty cash

• Assist in purchase and sales invoice entries

• Maintain organized records and ledgers

• Reconcile bank statements and supplier/customer accounts

• Support the senior accountant in audits and reporting

• Other accounting tasks as assigned

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience

• Knowledge of Tally ERP or similar software preferred

• Familiar with GST filing process

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication and documentation skills

• Lives nearby Vasai or can commute daily
