Accounts Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Tally Prime and have strong skills in Advanced Excel to handle day-to-day accounting tasks, data entry, and reporting efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers using Tally Prime

• Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance reports

• Prepare and reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts

• Perform data entry and maintain documentation for all financial transactions

• Use Advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements, etc.) for reports, analysis, and MIS

• Assist in preparing invoices, bills, and supporting documents

• Maintain petty cash records and assist in day-to-day accounting activities

• Support in audit preparation and internal controls

• Coordinate with vendors and other departments for payment processing

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounting or finance roles

• Proficiency in Tally Prime (including voucher entry, GST, inventory, and payroll modules)

• Advanced Excel knowledge is a must (formulas, pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, etc.)

• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting

• Attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field preferred
