Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Executive to support our finance operations across various projects, including construction and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for invoice processing, reconciliations, MIS reporting, and audit support. A solid understanding of accounting principles, invoicing procedures, and statutory compliance is essential.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Sales Invoicing & Credit Notes:
Generate and issue sales invoices and credit notes related to both build and service components of various projects.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation in line with project progress and contractual agreements.
E-Invoicing:
Prepare and upload e-invoices on the designated government portal in compliance with statutory norms.
Ensure timely generation of IRNs and QR codes for all applicable invoices.
Invoice Abstract Sheet Preparation:
Maintain invoice-wise abstract sheets to provide a detailed breakup of billing and project-wise financial status.
Accounting:
Record all sales invoices, credit notes, and TDS receivables accurately in the accounting software/system.
Ensure proper ledger postings and documentation.
Reconciliation of 26AS:
Periodically reconcile Form 26AS with internal TDS receivable ledgers to ensure accuracy and timely correction, if required.
Sales Invoice Acknowledgments:
Collect and maintain acknowledgment records of submitted sales invoices from clients/customers for documentation and audit purposes.
MIS & Reporting:
Support in the preparation of Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Track and report vendor costs and client billing information.
Review and report customer outstanding balances regularly.
Billing vs Execution Reconciliation:
Perform reconciliation of billed quantities against actual quantities executed at project sites.
Highlight discrepancies and follow up for resolution.
Audit Support:
Prepare and submit data for internal and external audits including sales registers, sample invoices, and customer balance confirmations.
Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
