Accountant (Part -Time)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting software, compliance, and communication, with a focus on maintaining accurate financial records and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Management: Maintain and update accounts using software such as Tally or QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.

Transaction Standardization: Ensure all bank account and cash transactions are recorded in a standardized format for consistency and audit readiness.

Compliance and Coordination: Collaborate with our Chartered Accountant to ensure timely filing of all returns and adherence to regulatory compliance requirements.

Stakeholder Communication: Engage with the Canadian team to address monthly remittance requirements and maintain clear, professional communication with stakeholders.

Invoice Management: Download, maintain, and share invoices with the Canadian accounts team in a timely and organized manner.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and data management.

Accounting Knowledge: In-depth understanding of accounting principles, compliance regulations, and return filing processes.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.

Experience: Prior experience in accounting roles with a focus on compliance and cross-team coordination is preferred.

Additional Requirements

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable coordinating with international teams, particularly in Canada, to meet financial reporting and remittance needs.

Job role:

Should have strong Knowledge of Tally, Excel, Accounting compliance and good communication skills

1) Maintaining Accounts in Software like Tally or Quickbook.

2) Ensuring standardized format based on bank account and cash transactions

3) Coordinating with our Chartered accountant ensuring all return filings and compliance are met

4) Communicating with Canadian team and engaging stakeholders with remittance requirement each month

5) Downloading, maintaining and sharing invoices with the Canadian accounts team.
