Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.

• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve accounting discrepancies.

• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Stay current with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.

• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).

• [X]+ years of experience in accounting or a related financial role.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with [industry-specific tools or systems].

• Knowledge of tax laws and corporate finance.

• Advanced Excel skills.
