Accountant

Job Description:

We are looking for an Accountant with 6 months of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, manage financial records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial data and supporting the senior accounting team in various financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records (invoices, bills, receipts)
• Assist in financial reports and statements
• Handle accounts payable/receivable
• Reconcile bank statements
• Assist with GST, TDS, and statutory filings
• Support monthly/Quarterly/Half yearly/year-end closings
• Manage daily imprest and bill entries
• Enter purchase bills in Busy; prepare weekly sales/purchase reports

Qualifications:

• 12th with commerce/ undergraduate in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 6 months’ experience in accounting/bookkeeping
• Knowledge of Busy, or similar software
• Proficient in MS Excel and Office tools
• Strong attention to detail and organization
