Account Manager – Roles and Responsibilities

1. Client Relationship Management

• Act as the main point of contact for assigned clients.

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships to foster client loyalty.

• Understand clients’ business needs and goals to provide tailored solutions.

2. Account Oversight

• Manage the daily operations of client accounts.

• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, support) to deliver client solutions.

• Monitor the performance of services or products delivered to ensure quality and timeliness.

3. Communication and Reporting

• Provide regular updates to clients on project status, performance metrics, and key developments.

• Communicate client feedback to relevant departments to improve services.

• Prepare and present reports, proposals, or presentations as needed.

4. Revenue Growth and Retention

• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand business with existing clients.

• Meet revenue targets by maximizing account potential.

• Help develop proposals and pricing strategies in collaboration with the sales team.

5. Problem Resolution

• Handle client issues, concerns, and escalations promptly and professionally.

• Troubleshoot problems and coordinate with internal departments to resolve them.

6. Contract and Renewal Management

• Negotiate contracts and renewals with clients.

• Ensure terms of service agreements are fulfilled.

7. Strategic Planning

• Participate in strategic planning and forecasting for key accounts.

• Provide insights into market trends and customer behavior to inform business decisions.

8. Documentation and Compliance

• Maintain accurate records of account activity in CRM systems.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, client agreements, and legal requirements
