Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage and oversee the daily operations of our accounting department. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions including billing, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

• Handle GST, TDS, PF, and other statutory compliance.

• Maintain proper documentation and records of all financial transactions.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.

• Implement internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

• Liaise with vendors, clients, and banks as needed.

• Support management with ad hoc financial reports and analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter, M.Com, or equivalent preferred).

• 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and taxation.

• Advanced MS Excel skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in [specific industry if applicable, e.g., manufacturing, IT services, etc.]

• Familiarity with international accounting standards (IFRS) – a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
