Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Executive to manage daily accounting operations, including GST & TDS compliance, return filing, and bank reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and reconciliation practices to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

• GST Compliance & Filing:

  • Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.)

  • Reconcile GST input credit with GSTR-2A/2B

  • Maintain proper documentation for GST audits and assessments

• TDS Compliance & Filing:

  • Timely deduction and payment of TDS as per applicable rates

  • Filing of TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.)

  • Generate and issue Form 16/16A to vendors and employees

• Bank Reconciliation:

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of bank statements (both debit and credit entries)

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

  • Coordinate with the bank for queries and transaction clarifications

• General Accounting:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and MIS

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance

• Minimum 1-4 years of relevant experience in accounts and taxation

• Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software, Mail.

• Good knowledge of GST and TDS regulations

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
