Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The Accountant will assist with daily accounting activities, including the preparation and maintenance of financial records, reports, and statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.

• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

• Prepare and submit invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.

• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

• Assist with tax filings and compliance.

• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist with internal and external audits.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information.

• Support the finance team with various accounting projects and tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3-4 years of accounting experience preferred (internships or part-time work acceptable).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
