Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Manage general ledger and ensure all financial entries are accurate.
• Account Reconciliation:
• Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable balances.
• Ensure all discrepancies are identified and corrected promptly.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist with the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
• Support the Finance team in the preparation of financial reports for management.
• Tax Preparation and Compliance:
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
• Support the auditing process by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
• Manage invoicing and ensure timely payments from clients.
• Process bills and manage vendor payments.
• Follow up on overdue invoices and resolve any payment issues.
• Internal Controls and Audit:
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
• Support internal and external audits by providing relevant financial documents.
• Assist with payroll processing and other financial administrative tasks.
• Maintain proper filing systems for financial documentation and records.
• Provide support in ad-hoc financial analysis as required by management.
