Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, expenses, stock valuation, and other warehouse financials.

• Monitor and record daily warehouse transactions, including goods received, dispatches, and returns.

• Reconcile inventory ledgers with physical stock and coordinate with inventory control/audit teams.

• Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, payment vouchers, and journal entries.

• Track and manage warehouse expenses such as transport, handling, labor, and utilities.

• Assist in monthly and annual closings related to inventory and warehouse operations.

• Ensure timely payment to vendors and resolve discrepancies in coordination with procurement.

• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation.

• Work with warehouse and logistics teams to improve cost control and budgeting.

• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, including GST, VAT, and TDS as relevant.
