Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and committed Accountant Associate to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in accounting practices, preferably with exposure to the insurance sector. Candidates with a B.Com background or pursuing CA Inter (semi-qualified) will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update accurate financial records and reports

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally

• Prepare and file GST returns and ensure all statutory compliances

• Handle accounts payable and receivable efficiently

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit processes

• Reconcile bank statements and ledger balances regularly

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing activities

• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors

• Ensure adherence to financial controls and timelines

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 1.6 years of hands-on accounting experience

• B.Com graduate or CA Inter (semi-qualified) preferred

• Proficient in Tally ERP and MS Excel

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and GST compliance

• Good communication, time management, and multitasking skills
