Job Title:

Part Inspector / Quality Inspector

Qualification & Experience:

• Educational Qualification:
  B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or a relevant engineering branch.

• Experience:
  Minimum 5 years of experience in part inspection, quality assurance, or a related field in manufacturing or engineering industries.

Key Skills Required:

• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments:

  • Vernier Caliper

  • Micrometer

  • Height Gauge

  • Contour Measuring Equipment

• Strong understanding of:

  • Engineering drawings of components and sub-assemblies

  • Dimensional and visual inspection methods for:

    • Machine components

    • Sheet metal parts

    • Welded structures / piping

    • Jigs and tools

• Ability to:

  • Verify calibration reports of jigs and fixtures

  • Prepare detailed inspection reports

• Sound knowledge of quality management tools and methodologies:

  • PDCA Cycle

  • 7 QC Tools

  • 8D Problem Solving

  • Why-Why Analysis

  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)

  • PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
