We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of our produce warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling perishable goods, supervising staff, and ensuring timely and efficient storage and dispatch of fresh vegetables. This role is critical to maintaining product quality, safety, and inventory accuracy.
Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, sorting, storing, and dispatching fresh vegetables.
Ensure all produce is handled and stored under proper conditions to maintain freshness and minimize spoilage.
Monitor cold storage and temperature-sensitive areas for compliance with food safety standards.
Lead and manage warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
Implement and enforce safety and hygiene protocols in compliance with industry regulations
Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Ensure proper documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments.
Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and minimal handling damage.
Report any quality issues, delays, or stock discrepancies to management promptly.
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in warehouse or supply chain operations, preferably in fresh produce or perishable goods.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Strong knowledge of cold chain logistics and food safety standards.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic MS Office tools.
Physical ability to work in refrigerated environments and handle produce safely.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
