The Warehouse Executive is responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. This role ensures productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are compliant with safety regulations and company policies.
Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Maintain inventory levels, perform regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure accurate documentation of all warehouse transactions.
Supervise loading and unloading of goods.
Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Implement health and safety procedures within the warehouse.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc., if needed.
Monitor the performance of warehouse staff and provide guidance or training as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
Generate and analyze reports on inventory and warehouse efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
Proven experience (2+ years) in warehouse or logistics operations.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items if required.
Certification in inventory control or logistics is a plus.
Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
Good communication skills and a team player mindset.
Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures and equipment noise.
May involve standing, lifting, and moving goods for extended periods.
