Key responsibility

Operations Management:

·         Prepare and maintain SOPs for warehouse management

·         Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.

·         Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock control.

·         Optimize storage space and layout for efficiency.

·         Plan and coordinate the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.

·         Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS).

·         Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

·         Manage and analyze all warehouse activities including materials management, logistics performance, insurance and maintenance.

Staff Management:

·         Supervise and train warehouse staff, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.

·         Recruit, hire, and onboard new warehouse employees.

·         Address employee issues and ensure a positive and productive work environment

Logistics and Distribution:

·         Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

·         Manage transportation logistics, including scheduling pickups and deliveries.

·         Ensure compliance with shipping and handling regulations.

Quality & safety Control:

·         Inspect and approve the quality and quantity of goods received and shipped.

·         Implement and maintain quality control procedures.

·         Implement and maintain safety measures for goods and other materials

Reporting and Analysis:

·         Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics.

·         Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions

Budget Management:

·         Manage the warehouse budget, including staffing, equipment, and supplies.

·         Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses.
