Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Store Manager to oversee and manage the central store operations at our Noida facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficient inventory management, material handling, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth flow of materials for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory, including hardware, electrical components, and support devices
Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal inventory, avoiding overstocking or shortages
Classify and label items for efficient retrieval and traceability
2. Material Receiving and Dispatching
Receive and inspect materials delivered by suppliers for quantity and quality compliance
Manage systematic storage and ensure proper documentation of all incoming goods
Coordinate timely dispatch of materials to project sites and internal departments
3. Storage & Organization
Ensure organized, clean, and safe storage practices
Utilize warehouse space effectively to maximize operational efficiency
Implement practices for material movement and usage
4. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain all necessary records, including inward/outward registers, GRNs, delivery challans, and stock reports
Prepare regular reports on stock movements, consumption trends, and pending requisitions
5. Coordination with Internal Departments
Collaborate with:
Procurement team for restocking and vendor follow-up
Engineering/project teams for delivery and material planning
Accounts for invoice verification and material cost tracking
Act as a central point of contact between vendors and internal stakeholders
6. Asset and Equipment Tracking
Maintain records of tools, test equipment, and other assets issued to technical teams
Track asset returns and coordinate for maintenance or replacements as necessary
7. Compliance and Safety
Ensure strict adherence to company safety policies and regulatory guidelines
Handle sensitive or hazardous materials as per prescribed protocols
Maintain physical security of the store, including surveillance, fire safety, and restricted access
8. Team Management (if applicable)
Supervise and guide store assistants and support staff
Provide on-the-job training and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field
1- 3years of experience in warehouse/store management, preferably in infrastructure, electronics, or industrial equipment
Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and coordination abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
