About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and operations-focused Store Manager to lead and manage the daily activities of our retail/dark store in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong people management skills, a keen understanding of inventory and operations, and a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• 🧾 Store Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day store functioning including opening/closing, cleanliness, and workflow management.

• 📦 Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, ensure timely replenishment, reduce shrinkage and wastage.

• 👥 Team Leadership: Manage, schedule, and motivate store staff to meet performance goals and ensure high productivity.

• 💬 Customer Service: Handle customer interactions with professionalism, resolve complaints, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

• 📈 Sales Monitoring: Track daily sales, meet store targets, and implement strategies to improve revenue and profitability.

• ✅ Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations; prepare daily/weekly reports.

Requirements:

• ✔️ Minimum 2 years of experience in a store manager or assistant manager role (FMCG/Fresh Produce/Retail preferred)

• ✔️ Strong leadership and people management abilities

• ✔️ Good understanding of retail operations, POS systems, and inventory control

• ✔️ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• ✔️ Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
