Obtain quotations, evaluate offers, and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery
schedules.
Raise purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Maintain updated records of spares inventory, supplier databases, and purchase
history.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and safety
norms.
Coordinate with the stores team for stock level monitoring and replenishment
planning.
Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Assist in budget preparation and cost control related to spare parts procurement.
Prepare monthly procurement reports, analyze market trends, and identify
opportunities for cost savings.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of plant equipment, machinery spares, and technical specifications.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar) and MS Office.
Good communication and coordination abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
