• BSc (Electronics / Physics) / diploma in electronics with minimum one year experience in purchase support of any product /service
• Proficient in MSO skills MS Word and mS Excel
• Good Communication skills verbal and written doing email correspondence and internet search and using social media
• Ability to evaluate vendors based on pricing ,experience, quality, delivery time,reliability and negotiate terms and conditions for issuing an effective purchase order
• Ability to check stocks and prepare a demand plan and accordingly make a purchase plan
• Ability to check supplier quality , visit the vendors and report and seek Managements approval
Responsibilities
• Carry out purchase function as per process
• Check which parts / components / products / stationary etc. As per stocks and creating the demand plan
• Check current prices and negotiate wherever required
• Generate correct Purchase Orders
• Send Purchase Orders
• Follow up venders for timely delivery
• Evaluate vendors and report to management from time to time.
• Vendor approval
• Keep track of shortage and order accordingly
• Visit vendors if required/visit market for purchasing if required.
• Any other task related to purchase as decided by management
