We are seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee vendor development, rate negotiations, and cost optimization for our relocation and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the Packers & Movers industry, including vehicles, packing material, and vendor management.
Develop and manage a network of local and outstation vendors (vehicles, packing materials, labor contractors, etc.).
Negotiate rates and contracts to ensure cost efficiency and service quality.
Manage procurement of packing materials (cartons, bubble wraps, tapes, wooden crates, etc.) in line with operational requirements.
Ensure timely availability of vehicles for HHG (Household Goods) and office relocation.
Maintain and monitor vendor agreements, SLAs, and compliance documents.
Analyze procurement costs and implement strategies for cost savings.
Collaborate with operations and business development teams for smooth execution of projects.
Prepare and maintain MIS reports on procurement activities.
Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and quality standards.
Strong knowledge of Packers & Movers / HHG relocation operations.
Good understanding of vehicles, material sourcing, and vendor negotiations.
Familiarity with rate structures, costing methods, and market trends.
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and MIS reporting.
Ability to handle multiple vendor networks and work under deadlines.
Graduate in Business/Commerce/Logistics or equivalent.
3–5 years of procurement experience (preferably in Packers & Movers or Logistics industry).
