Role: Picker/Packer (with Loading/Unloading)

Key Responsibilities

• Picking: Accurately select items based on order sheets or a handheld scanner/device. This is the core of the role and requires attention to detail.

• Packing: Securely and efficiently package picked items for shipment, ensuring they are protected and labeled correctly. This may involve choosing the right box size and using packing material like bubble wrap or air pillows.

• Loading/Unloading: Assist with moving goods. This includes:

  • Unloading new stock from delivery trucks and moving it to the designated storage areas.

  • Loading packed, completed orders onto delivery vehicles, potentially using pallet jacks or other equipment.

• Inventory Management: Occasionally help with counting, organizing, and ensuring the accuracy of stock.

• Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
