Experience: 5+ Years in Export-Import Logistics (FMCG preferred)
Experience working with FMCG products and perishable goods.
Qualifications: Certification in International Trade, Export-Import Management, or Supply Chain is a plus.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Manager with hands-on experience in handling export and import shipments in the FMCG sector. The ideal candidate will manage the entire dispatch cycle from pick-up to delivery, handle international trade documentation, coordinate with CHA, transporters, DHL, manage banking documentation (like BOE, inward/outward remittances), and oversee government-related filings (such as EBRC, Shipping Bill, MSDS, etc.). A working knowledge of accounts and trade compliance is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Export & Import Logistics Management
Handle end-to-end logistics operations for export and import shipments.
Coordinate with CHA agents, freight forwarders, transport partners, and courier companies (DHL, FedEx, etc.) for smooth dispatch and delivery.
Oversee product movement from pick-up to drop-off, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
Manage transport bookings, tracking, and documentation for local and international shipments.
Banking & Trade Documentation
Prepare and submit documents for foreign inward and outward remittances.
Handle Bill of Entry (BOE) filing, Shipping Bill, AWB, Invoice, and e-Way Bill documentation.
Coordinate with banks for LCs, BRC/EBRC, and drawback benefits.
Work with finance to reconcile export proceeds and handle accounting entries related to trade.
Government & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, RBI, and FSSAI regulations.
Prepare and maintain records like COA, MSDS, and other mandatory documents.
File required applications and documentation for drawback claims, duty benefits, and trade incentives.
Internal Coordination & Process Management
Liaise with the trade department, sales, warehousing, and accounts teams for smooth coordination.
Monitor logistics KPIs and take necessary actions to optimize performance.
Maintain and update shipping records, trackers, and MIS reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Export-Import operations, especially in FMCG or similar sectors.
Strong knowledge of banking documentation, BOE, EBRC, Shipping Bill, LCs, AWB, Invoice, etc.
Familiarity with transport and courier operations like DHL, Blue Dart, etc.
Knowledge of government regulations and procedures for export/import in India.
Basic accounting knowledge related to export remittances, billing, and payments.
Proficient in MS Office, Tally/ERP systems, and email correspondence.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
