Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Bill of Lading (BL), commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.
Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clients to ensure timely and accurate documentation.
Maintain organized records of shipments and documentation (both digital and hard copies).
Ensure compliance with international trade laws, INCOTERMS, and client-specific requirements.
Communicate with internal teams (operations, finance, and sales) for document verification and updates.
Monitor shipment progress and provide regular documentation updates to clients.
Support in filing documents for customs clearance and liaising with government authorities if required.
Handle post-shipment documentation and track status for closures.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Logistics, International Business, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in documentation within the shipping/logistics/freight forwarding industry.
Familiarity with export-import documentation and procedures.
