The Import and Export Logistics Executive is responsible for handling the end-to-end logistics processes for international shipments. This role ensures timely, compliant, and cost-effective import and export operations, coordinates with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal teams, and ensures that all documentation and regulatory requirements are met.
Coordinate with overseas suppliers to schedule shipments
Handle shipping documentation (invoice, packing list, bill of lading, etc.)
Ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation
Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port authorities
Handle clearance procedures and resolve any customs issues
Maintain accurate records of inbound shipments and costs
Prepare export documents in compliance with destination country laws
Liaise with customers, shipping lines, and forwarders for dispatches
Coordinate logistics for export orders including booking shipments
Ensure timely clearance and shipment of goods
Arrange for appropriate labeling, packing, and transportation
Track deliveries and provide updates to stakeholders
Handle post-shipment documentation (e.g., Certificate of Origin, BL)
Maintain and update records in ERP or logistics systems
Monitor freight costs and negotiate with shipping providers
Ensure compliance with international trade laws and company policies
Support audits and documentation reviews as required
Work closely with the procurement, sales, and finance departments
