Roles & Responsibilities

 Manage all aspects of import operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and coordination with logistics providers.  Prepare and verify import-related documents such as invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of origin.  Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.  Handle LCs and related banking documentation.  Maintain records of shipments, tracking data, and preparing reports on import activities.  Monitor shipping schedules, resolve delays, and manage transportation costs.  Stay updated on global market trends, tariffs, and trade regulations.  Act as a point of contact for import-related inquiries and issues.  Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and provide regular reports to management.  Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to import shipments. Qualifications:  Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export operations, preferably in the chemical industry.  In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, shipping documentation, and international trade laws.  Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.  Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
