Reports To: Operations Manager / Logistics Director

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fleet Manager to oversee our company's vehicle operations. In this role, you will manage fleet logistics, ensure timely maintenance, and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize fleet performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage daily operations of the vehicle fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and routing.

• Coordinate regular maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.

• Monitor fuel consumption and implement cost-saving initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs.

• Develop and manage the fleet budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

• Supervise and train fleet staff, including drivers and maintenance personnel.

• Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement.

• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.

• Implement safety programs and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

• Proficient in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

• Proven experience in fleet management or a related role.
