Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials. Transport materials to designated areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
Support Production Operations: Assist machine operators with setup, operation, and maintenance of production equipment. Monitor production processes and report any issues or irregularities to operators. Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting under the guidance of operators or supervisors.
Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards. Separate and report defective products to the quality control team.
Housekeeping and Maintenance: Keep the production area clean and organized by sweeping, mopping, and removing waste materials. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as lubricating machines and replacing worn-out parts.
Packaging and Labelling: Assist in packaging finished products, ensuring correct labelling and adherence to packaging guidelines. Prepare products for shipping by packing them securely and loading them onto trucks.
Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs). Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use hand tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
