Project Manager / Operations Head
The Project Coordinator & Expeditor is responsible for coordinating project activities, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials, monitoring project schedules, and facilitating communication among stakeholders. This role ensures projects are executed within defined timelines, quality standards, and budgets by proactively following up with vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
· Assist Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing project activities.
· Track project progress against timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
· Maintain project documentation, reports, and communication records.
· Organize and participate in project review meetings.
· Coordinate between engineering, procurement, production, and client teams.
· Follow up with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services.
· Monitor manufacturing progress of critical items and highlight delays.
· Coordinate inspections, testing, and dispatch of materials.
· Track shipment status and coordinate with logistics for on-time delivery.
· Escalate critical delays to management and propose mitigation plans.
· Prepare daily/weekly status reports on project and procurement progress.
· Update project schedules and material tracking sheets.
· Highlight potential risks to timelines and provide corrective action recommendations.
· Ensure proper documentation of purchase orders, delivery challans, test certificates, and inspection reports.
· Act as a link between project team, procurement, vendors, and clients.
· Ensure clear communication and timely updates to all stakeholders.
· Support client queries related to delivery and project timelines.
· Strong organizational and coordination skills.
· Familiar with procurement and supply chain processes.
· Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
· Problem-solving and proactive follow-up attitude.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical)
· 2–4 years of experience in Project Coordination / Expediting roles.
· Experience in EPC, manufacturing, or engineering projects preferred.
· Knowledge of ERP systems will be an advantage.
