Educational Background- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
Industry Experience- 5+ years of experience in FMCG export sales or international business development. Established network of global distributors or trading partners is a strong asset.
Language Skills- Fluency in English (mandatory)
Strong Product Knowledge- Deep understanding of FMCG. Familiarity with local and international consumer preferences and trends.
Technological Tools: Proficiency in: CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM) ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Data analysis tools for sales forecasting and market insight.
International Market Knowledge: Insight into regional trade dynamics, import/export requirements, and competitive landscape in target countries.
Logistics and Supply Chain Understanding: Working knowledge of: Freight forwarding and global shipping, Warehousing and inventory control, Supply chain risk management.
Financial and Legal Awareness: Understanding of: Export pricing strategies and margin calculations. Trade finance (LCs, currency exchange, international payment terms). Trade laws and compliance requirements.
Mobility and Travel Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel internationally as needed for business development and client relationship management.
Interpersonal Assets: High emotional intelligence and cross-cultural sensitivity. Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
