Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and organized Dispatch Supervisor to oversee daily dispatch operations and ensure the accurate, timely, and safe delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will coordinate with warehouse, transport, and customer service teams to manage outbound shipments, supervise dispatch staff, and maintain proper records.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch Operations:

• Supervise daily outbound shipments and dispatch schedules.

• Ensure timely dispatch of orders in coordination with warehouse and transport teams.

• Monitor loading/unloading operations and vehicle movement.

• Verify documentation (invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, etc.) before dispatch.

Team Supervision:

• Lead and guide dispatch staff and helpers.

• Allocate work and monitor team performance.

• Ensure adherence to safety and company SOPs during dispatch operations.

Coordination & Communication:

• Coordinate with internal departments like Sales, Warehouse, and Transport.

• Liaise with transporters, drivers, and customers to resolve dispatch-related issues.

• Track shipments and ensure delivery confirmations.

Inventory & Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of dispatches, returns, and pending orders.

• Ensure proper stock movement entries in ERP/WMS systems.

• Conduct regular audits of dispatch processes and suggest improvements.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of dispatch/logistics procedures and documentation.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills.

• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and transport coordination.

• Basic understanding of vehicle routing and freight management.

• Problem-solving attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in dispatch/logistics operations, preferably in [industry].

• Working knowledge of MS Office and dispatch management software.
