Receive and prioritize calls or work orders for transportation, delivery, or service.
Schedule and dispatch drivers, technicians, or service vehicles to appropriate locations based on urgency, location, and availability.
Monitor vehicle locations and status using GPS tracking systems or other software.
Communicate effectively with field personnel to relay assignments, updates, or changes.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Assist in troubleshooting issues or delays and implement contingency plans when necessary.
Coordinate with other departments such as logistics, customer service, or operations.
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
Experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or a related field is an asset.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS systems, and Microsoft Office.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
