Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and efficient Waiter/Waitress to join our café team. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders accurately, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and present menus.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.

• Serve orders to guests in a timely and courteous manner.

• Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations when appropriate.

• Ensure tables are clean and properly set before seating guests.

• Clear tables and reset for the next guests.

• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.

• Work closely with kitchen and staff to ensure smooth operations.

• Process payments (cash or card) and issue receipts.

• Follow all health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.

• Assist in opening and closing duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress is a plus, but not required.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Friendly, positive attitude and a team player.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Good physical stamina – able to stand, walk, and carry trays for long periods.

• Flexible with work hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems.

• Basic food and beverage knowledge.

• Multilingual abilities are a bonus.
