Key Responsibilities of a Steward:
Maintaining Cleanliness and Hygiene:
This includes cleaning and sanitizing all areas, such as dining areas, kitchens, and service areas.
Dishwashing and Utensil Management:
Handling the cleaning of dirty dishes, pots, pans, and other utensils, either by hand or using dishwashing equipment.
Assisting Customers:
Providing basic customer service, such as welcoming guests, seating them, and addressing their needs.
Managing Inventory and Supplies:
Ensuring that the venue is adequately stocked with necessary supplies, including food, beverages, and cleaning materials.
Supporting Other Staff:
Assisting waiters, bartenders, and other staff members with various tasks as needed.
Upholding Safety and Hygiene Standards:
Following established protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for both staff and customers.
Problem Solving and Communication:
