Job Title: Bartender
Department: Food & Beverage / Hospitality
Reporting To: Bar Manager / Restaurant Manager
We are looking for a skilled and personable Bartender to provide an exceptional drinking and dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes.
Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar area and equipment.
Take beverage orders and serve snacks or food when required.
Check customers’ identification and confirm legal drinking age.
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
Upsell drinks and promotions to maximize revenue.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Follow all food and beverage safety and sanitation policies.
Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, promotions, and bar trends.
Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role.
Knowledge of a wide range of drinks and cocktail recipes.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent; bartending certification is a plus.
Flair bartending or mixology training.
Basic knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits.
Familiarity with POS systems and billing procedures.
