Key Responsibilities: • Cleaning: Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes are cleaned and sanitized. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, dining areas, and restrooms.
• Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste and recyclables. Ensure garbage bins are emptied regularly and kept clean.
• Stocking: Assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Ensure kitchen supplies and ingredients are properly stocked and organized.
• Support: Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and plating dishes.
• Maintenance: Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Restaurant Manager. Ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
• Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations. Ensure proper handling and storage of food to prevent contamination.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with kitchen and dining room staff to ensure smooth operations. Provide support wherever needed. Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and food safety standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
