Key Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing & Cleaning

  • Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, and pans.

  • Operate and maintain dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.

  • Ensure all kitchen utensils and tools are cleaned and stored properly.

• Kitchen & Work Area Maintenance

  • Clean and mop kitchen floors, walls, and surfaces regularly.

  • Maintain cleanliness of sinks, trolleys, and workstations.

  • Ensure the kitchen and back-of-house areas are kept neat and organized.

• Waste Disposal

  • Properly segregate and dispose of kitchen waste and garbage.

  • Clean and sanitize garbage bins and waste disposal areas regularly.

• Support to Kitchen Staff

  • Assist chefs with basic prep work like peeling, chopping, or fetching ingredients when required.

  • Replenish kitchen supplies such as cleaning agents, paper towels, and dish soap.

• Compliance with Safety & Hygiene Standards

  • Follow standard operating procedures for cleanliness and hygiene (e.g., HACCP, FSSAI norms).

  • Report any hygiene issues, damages, or broken equipment to the supervisor immediately.

• Inventory & Supply Maintenance

  • Inform the stewarding supervisor of low stock in cleaning materials or tools.

  • Assist in unloading and organizing kitchen supply deliveries if needed.

• Equipment Care

  • Handle and clean kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, grills) as per guidelines.

  • Ensure proper storage and care of all kitchen cleaning tools and machines
