Role Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our front-of-house team as Service Staff in our East Asian restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service, and maintaining the overall ambiance of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Interaction: Greet and welcome guests, present menus, and provide detailed information on dishes and daily specials.
Order Management: Accurately take food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar staff, and ensure timely delivery to guests.
Service Excellence: Serve food and beverages promptly, check on guest satisfaction, and address any concerns or special requests.
Table Maintenance: Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and assist in setting up for service.
Upselling: Recommend additional items or specials to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
0–2 years of experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a restaurant setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Basic knowledge of East Asian cuisine and dining etiquette is a plus.Expertia
