Responsibilities of Area Manager – Khichdi Express
1. Operations Management
• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple Khichdi Express outlets to ensure consistency in quality, hygiene, and service standards.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with brand SOPs, FSSAI norms, and safety regulations.
• Optimize outlet performance through continuous monitoring of KPIs (sales, food cost, customer feedback, etc.).
2. Team Leadership & Training
• Lead, mentor, and motivate outlet managers, chefs, and staff to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure all team members are trained in brand standards, food preparation, and customer interaction.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and identify training needs.
3. Sales & Business Growth
• Drive sales targets for each outlet under the assigned region.
• Plan and execute local marketing initiatives and promotions in coordination with the marketing team.
• Analyze sales trends and identify new opportunities for revenue enhancement.
4. Quality & Customer Experience
• Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and portioning of all khichdi varieties and menu items.
• Address customer complaints promptly and ensure corrective measures are taken.
• Implement systems to collect and act on customer feedback regularly.
5. Inventory & Cost Control
• Monitor inventory management, wastage control, and vendor coordination across outlets.
• Ensure cost efficiency while maintaining food quality and operational excellence.
• Approve purchase orders and verify stock levels to prevent shortages or excess.
6. Expansion & New Store Setup
• Assist in identifying potential new locations and oversee setup as per Khichdi Express design and branding guidelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, designers, and suppliers for smooth pre-opening operations.
7. Reporting & Coordination
• Submit weekly and monthly performance reports to the management team.
• Coordinate with the central kitchen (if applicable) for supply chain efficiency.
• Communicate effectively between head office and individual outlets.
8. Brand Representation
• Uphold and promote the Khichdi Express brand ethos and culture at all outlets.
• Maintain strong relationships with local partners, vendors, and community stakeholders.
